Effects Wizard Stan Winston Passes Away at 62

The modern age of movies has been characterized by the rise of fantastic, out-of-this-world special effects, and no one personified the art more than Stan Winston, who passed away over the weekend.  Many of cinema's greatest creations, from the Jurrasic Park dinosaurs to the Terminator, were brought to life by Winston, and Hollywood takes a major hit with his death.  Thank you for the magic, Stan.  Your legacy will live on in the cineplex forever.
